As well as hosting events organised by others, Foxhill also has an exciting and expanding programme of Open events each year. We are constantly adding to our programme.
To keep up to date with changes and additions, subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter. We also support people who come for private retreats, and provide material suitable for a day, weekend or longer. However, we can also leave you alone to your own thoughts and prayers if you prefer.
If you have never been to Foxhill, join us at one of the regular celebrations of Holy Communion in our beautiful Chapel or come to the always popular Carol Concert in December each year.
Other events
Through our facilities and our programme, we offer opportunities for people to learn more of God’s purpose for them, both at a personal level and as part of society.
Firstly, through our programme of open Retreats and similar events;
Secondly, through our close ties with the Diocesan network of Spiritual Directors and the Diocesan Counselling Team;
Thirdly, through the Eucharist service at Foxhill at 4.00 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month;
And fourthly, by offering a restful and peaceful place to worship, study or relax.
If you have never been to Foxhill, you have a chance to do so on Thursday February 16th, when Foxhill will be open for guests from 10.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. to do as they wish. Spend the day relaxing, meditating, reading or praying. If the weather allows, explore the 70 acres of woodland. The chapel will be available all day for private reflection, and a Eucharist will be celebrated there at 12 noon, for those who wish to attend. A simple soup and fruit lunch will be served and coffee and tea will be available throughout the day.
